How much food

A good guide is for cocktail canapés to allow 8 – 12 canapes per person. Perhaps six cold and four hot. Allow one hot or cold fork dish when you have fork food, along with a nice salad, a piece of bread and one portion of desert per person. Have variety. Make food look appealing by using lots of colour.
Your Party Checklist :
Arrange flowers and party decorations.Chill the drinks and make sure you have plenty of ice.Put the glasses, cutlery and plates out on display.Set out piles of colourful paper napkins.Make space for guests to leave their bags and coats.Have lots of empty bins on standby for rubbish.Place clean towels and soap in the loo.Place a few ashtrays in the smoking area.
